Mrs. Shinn began her teaching career at Santa Ana College, where she taught children ranging in age from four months to five years old. She did this for 16 years before becoming a substitute teacher here at Bethany, teaching grades K-5. Mrs. Shinn has been a full time kindergarten teacher at BCA since 2017.

Mrs. Shinn's goal is to assist her students in growing spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically. 

Mrs. Shinn has been married to her husband Vincent since 2006, and they have two sons, who both attend BCA.
